Welcome to the MEDIEVAL ROMANCES REFERENCE SECTION. If I had to choose which period of history I most enjoy reading about, it would have to be the Middle Ages. I have created a list of titles and authors, who with their writing captures the flavour and chivalry of the Medieval Romance.
Should you be wondering what time period actually classes being a medieval, personally speaking I view the period just prior to The Norman Conquest of Britain in 1066 up to the end of Henry VIII's reign. After that it falls into the Elizabethan era. In fact looking back over my list a few titles that take place later in history have sneaked in, but as I made the list I can be judge and jury and take some poetic license with dates :) I mean, you can't leave out the constant struggles of the Scots!
